Carol L. Bollman, 73, of Imler, went home to be with the Lord, on Monday March 5, 2018 at home. She was born March 10, 1944 in Queen, daughter of the late Chester and Edith (Harr) Claar. She married William H. Bollman on July 9, 1962, in Cumberland, MD. He passed away March 11, 1992.
Surviving are the following children Rodney H. Bollman of Imler, Tina Walters of Wasilla Alaska, Shawn E. Claar of New Enterprise, Sonia McGilvray (Scott) and Tonia Comp (Randy) of Imler, daughter-in-law Joyce Bollman of Imler, 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, a brother Carl Claar (Sally) of Manns Choice and sisters Shirley Weyant (Don) and Rhonda Feather (Danny) of Queen. Carol was preceded in death by six brothers John, Mayberry, Ronnie, Chet, Robert and Roger Claar and a sister Mary Jane Brown.
Carol was a member of the Claysburg Church of God, where she served as a Sunday School teacher for 40 years. She was a 1962 graduate of Greenfield-Kimmel High School.
Carol was a homemaker and also did cleaning at the Blue Knob Ski Resort. She enjoyed visiting people and doing crafts and painting.
Friends will be received Thursday March 8, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Claysburg Church of God, 4311 Evergreen Road, Claysburg, PA 16625. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday March 9, 2018 at the church with Pastors Kim Swindell and Terry Bowden officiating. Interment at Greenfield Cemetery.
