Glenn Smith Arrrangement

Glenn E. Smith, 80, of Claysburg passed away Sunday April 8, 2018 at Nason Hospital. He was born July 30, 1937 in East Freedom, son of the late Elmer E. and Kathryn N. (Kensinger) Smith. He married Carol Bayle May 31, 1969 in Altoona.

 

Surviving are his wife, two daughters Mary Tetter of Hyndman and Nancy Brumbaugh of Martinsburg, a son David Smith of Queen, 8 grandchildren, a great grandson and a sister Janet Smith of Martinsburg. He was preceded in death by a son Robert Smith.

 

Glenn was a member of the Queen United Methodist Church. He was a 1956 graduate of Morrisons Cove High School. He retired as a truck driver, in 1999, from New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company after 32 years of service.

 

Glenn enjoyed hunting deer and spending time with his family.

 

Friends will be received Wednesday April 11, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday April 12, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Blankley officiating, Interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to the Queen United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
