I. Joy Wright

I. Joy Wright, 79, of Imler, passed away Saturday January 20, 2018 at UPMC-Altoona. She was born November 16, 1938 in Imler, daughter of the late Clyde George and Nellie (Langham) Wright.

Surviving are a daughter Cynthia Wright and husband Joseph Fraundorfer of Bethesda, MD, granddaughter Chaila Fraundorfer sisters Joan Moore and Patricia Kelley and husband Harry and other family members Lisa, Tim and Whitney Fetterhoff, Tammy Moore, Brad Collier, Nicole, Chris and Gage Mong, Mark Kelley, Melanie Dunn, Arlin, Joyce, Lynn and David Wright and Jeffrey Moore.

She was preceded in death by a sister Judith Wright.

Joy was a member of the Greenfield United Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday School and was active in the Ladies Aide.

She was a 1957 graduate of Greenfield-Kimmel High School. She retired as an aide from the Blair Christian Home in 2002 and was previously employed at Lyon Manufacturing, Everett. She enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with her family.

Friends will be received Wednesday  January 24, 2018 from 6-8 P.M. at the Greenfield United Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday  January 25, 2018 at the church. Interment at Greenfield Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to the Claysburg Area Public Library.
