Aleta L. Claycomb, 69, of Claysburg, passed away Saturday May 12, 2018 at UPMC-Presbyterian. She was born December 6, 1948 in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Glenn S. and Erma L. (Ritchey) Aldstadt. She married Hal Claycomb on December 2, 1967 in Claysburg.
Surviving are her husband, a son Steven R. Claycomb and wife Denise, 2 grandsons Stone Douglas and Hawke Jonathon, and a brother Ronald Aldstadt and wife Deborah of Grove City. She was preceded in death by a son Douglas R. Claycomb and a sister Mary Jane Isenberg.
Aleta was a member of the Lower Claar Church of the Brethren and was a 1966 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School. She was a homemaker and worked part time at the John Deere Dealership in Martinsburg and at the Sproul brickyard.
Aleta enjoyed traveling, going to the hunting camp and spending time with her grandsons.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. on Tuesday May 15, 2018 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday May 16, 2018, at the Lower Claar Church of the Brethren with Pastor John Winesickle officiating. Interment at Lower Claar Cemetery.
