Allen P. Knisely, 59, of Queen passed away Saturday November 2, 2019 at home. He was born June 10, 1960 in Roaring Spring the son of the late Walter L. and late Doris (Rouzer) Knisely.
He is survived by a son Anderson P. Knisely, sisters Linda Walter and Lisa Dively, brothers Roger and Gary Knisely, and companion Dana Ebersole and her daughter Danielle Ebersole. He was preceded in death by a sister Patricia Herrold.
Allen was a 1978 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel and a 1980 graduate of Penn State with an associate degree in electrical engineering. He was a HVAC technician for and part owner, along with his family, of Knisely and Sons Inc.
He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Claysburg. He was a long-time trumpeter with the Claysburg American Legion Band, long-time sound man for CACT, and a member of the set up committee for Claysburg Community Days. He enjoyed woodworking, watching TV, computer games, and the outdoors.
Friends will be received Tuesday, November 5, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home Claysburg. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 6, at 11:00 A.M. at Christ Lutheran Church with Pastor Jean K. Caudill officiating. Internment in Greenfield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Claysburg American Legion Band.
