Barbara D. Lewis

Barbara D. Lewis, 81, of Claysburg, passed away Monday June 3, 2019. She was born December 2, 1937 in Altoona, daughter of the late Merle and Sarah (Ickes) Wertz.

Surviving are 7 children April Musselman, Robert Ferrone, William Feathers, Melanie Freeman, Robert Lewis, Dawn Claar and Justin Lewis, 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a special friend Rich Ball and her dog “Beasley”. She was preceded in death by grandchildren Kyler Lewis and Jessica Feathers, brothers Julius and Francis and a sister Dolly.

Barbara was a 1955 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and retired from Sylvania after 25 years of service. She enjoyed watching Andy Griffith, going to see her grandchildren and great grandchildren play little league and C-K sporting events.

Friends will be received on Friday June 7, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. until the 11:00 A.M. memorial service at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg with her grandson Joseph Musselman officiating.
