BeLinda C. Cox, 48, Imler, went home to be with the Great Physician, to be healed of all her disabilities on Saturday December 28, 2019. She is now walking, talking and seeing the wonderous sights of Heaven. She was born in Roaring Spring on August 5, 1971, daughter of the late Curtis Emery Cox and Brenda Carol (Midkiff) Cox.
Surviving are a sister and caregiver: Lorrie A. (Cox) Mitchell and husband, Harry R. Mitchell, of Imler where she resided. They were excellent caregivers to her and loved her endlessly. Also surviving are two brothers: Michael A. and wife, Denise (Rollason) Cox of Imler, and Darin E. and wife Karmela (Thomas) Cox, of Fishertown. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Nevin Emery.
BeLinda attended Pittsburgh School for the Blind for approximately fourteen years. She enjoyed gospel music ant learned to sing “Hallelujah” and “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star”. She attended People’s Bible Holiness Church, where her father formerly pastored.
BeLinda was always happy with a contagious laugh. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment at Greenfield Cemetery.
