Brent L. Wright

Brent L. Wright, 74, of Claysburg, passed away Monday January 29, 2018 at Nason Hospital. He was born January 16, 1944 in Philadelphia, son of the late J. Mervyn and Marie (Diehl) Wright. He married Joan Feathers on December 19, 1964 in Queen.

Surviving are his wife, a daughter Stefanie Ritchey and husband Donald, 2 grandchildren Evan and Emma Ritchey and a brother Jerre Wright. He was preceded in death by two brothers Jay and Thomas Wright.

Brent was a member of the East Freedom Chapel. He was a 1961 graduate of Greenfield-Kimmel High School. He retired in 2009 and owned and operated several business’s including Wright Milling, Wrightco Technologies and Wrightco Educational Foundation.

Brent enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching his grandchildren playing sports.

Friends will be received Thursday February 1, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. until the 7:00 P.M. funeral service at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg. Interment at Bedford County Memorial Park.
