Dorothy M. Weyant

Dorothy M. Weyant, 85, of Claysburg, passed away Wednesday January 15, 2020 at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. She was born February 27, 1934, daughter of the late John A. Fetter and Mildred (Fleegle) Fetter Yingling. She married Robert L. Weyant on February 9, 1950 in Claysburg. He preceded her in death on December 30, 1996.

Surviving are a daughter Vicki M. Colpetzer and husband Kevin, a daughter-in-law Carol Weyant, 2 grandsons Kevin Weyant and Ethan Colpetzer, 3 great grandchildren Devin, Dylan and Vaidya Weyant, 3 great great granddaughters Be’ella and Nevaeh Weyant and 2 half-brothers. She was preceded in death by a son Ricky L. Weyant, 5 brothers, 2 sisters, a half-brother and 2 half-sisters.

Dorothy retired from Cove Shoe in 1991. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed WWE Wrestling, cooking, yardwork and spending time with her grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 2:00 P.M. until the 6:00 P.M. funeral service on Monday January 20, 2020 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg, Pastor James Neatrour officiating. Interment at Osterburg Community Cemetery.
