Earl B. Hoover Jr.

Earl B. Hoover Jr., 62, Duncansville, passed away Sunday March 25, 2018 at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.

He was born on November 8, 1955 in Duncansville, son of the late Earl B. Sr. and Betty Jane (Thompson) Hoover. On Jan. 15, 1977, he married Patricia R. Bender in Duncansville.

Surviving are his wife; three children: Jessica Hoover-Hoff, Earl B. Hoover III and Matthew P. Hoover; 10 grandchildren; two sisters: Zenith Dodson and Zoeanne Hoover-Acker; and three brothers: David, Theodore and Tyler Hoover. He was preceded in death by a brother, Mahlon Hoover; and a niece, Melinda Hoover-Benson.

Earl was a 1974 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School and he was employed as a carpenter for Ralph J. Albrano and Sons for over 20 years. He attended Hicks Memorial United Methodist Church, Duncansville.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2018, at Berean Baptist Church, Duncansville, Pastor Barry Fry officiating.
