Eddie F. Brodie Sr.

Eddie F. (Helsel) Brodie Sr., 71, of Duncansville, passed away Saturday June 29, 2019. He was born June 25, 1948 in Oklahoma City, OK, son of the late John and Dorothy (Griffith) Brodie.

Surviving are his wife Barbara A. Helsel, children Eddie Brodie Jr. (Billie Jo), Amy Randall (Kevin), and Desiree Imler (Dwayne), 10 grandchildren including special grandsons Lucas and Lance Imler, 1 great grandson and 8 siblings Wes, Steve, Cliff, Rock, Lance, Kitty, Tammy and Dianna. He was preceded in death by siblings Lucky and Gale.

Eddie retired as head electrician at Schottenstein Department Store, Columbus, OH, in 1994 after more than 10 years of service. He enjoyed building furniture and experimenting with electricity.

Friends will be received on Friday July 5, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Miller Funeral Home, East Freedom. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday July 6, 2019 at the funeral home with Pastor Blanche Burr officiating. Interment at Holsinger Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to the funeral home.
