Gary A. Helsel

Gary A. Helsel, 65, of East Freedom, passed away Sunday November 4, 2018 at home. He was born May 26, 1953 in Roaring Spring, son of Donna (Hainsey) Dodson and the late Joseph E. Helsel.

Surviving is his mother of East Freedom. He was preceded in death by a brother Terry Lee Helsel and his stepfather Miles Dodson.

Gary was a 1971 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School. He retired as a machine operator from Appleton Papers, Roaring Spring. He was of the Methodist faith.

Friends will be received at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg, on Wednesday November 7, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until the 7:00 P.M. funeral service, Pastor Cheryl Gonsman officiating. Interment at Greenfield Cemetery.
