James A. Wendle Sr., 60, of Claysburg, passed away Friday August 10, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was born February 13, 1958 in Altoona, son of the late Gerald and Hazel (Ickes) Wendle.

Surviving are a son James A. Wendle Jr., two grandchildren Kailey Paige and Ayden James Wendle and numerous friends.

James owned and operated Wendle Home Improvement for several years and enjoyed motorcycles and being outdoors.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
