John K. Weyant

John K. Weyant, 56, of Saxton, passed away Wednesday October 17, 2018 at Nason Hospital. He was born July 18, 1962 in Roaring Spring, son of the late John T. and Helen Patricia (Hoffman) Weyant. He married Ruth Brown on November 28, 1994 in Hagerstown, MD.

Surviving are his wife, a son Josh Weyant and a brother Kenneth Weyant. He was preceded in death by a brother Donald Weyant and two sisters Brenda Morgan and Debbie Meckler.

John was a member of the Trough Creek Valley Community Church, Todd. He was a 1981 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School. He was employed at JLG, Bedford for the past 5 years and was previously employed at JLG, McConnellsburg and Seton Industries, Saxton.

John enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting, football, reading and working on cars.

Friends will be received on Saturday October 20, 2018 from noon until the 2:00 P.M. funeral service at the Miller Funeral Home, East Freedom, Pastor Tim Martin officiating. Interment at Grandview Cemetery, Saxton.
