Judith A. “Judy” Eccleston, 75, of Williamsburg, formerly of East Freedom, passed away Monday April 22, 2019 at the Village at Morrisons Cove. She was born September 15, 1943 in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Melvin B. Sr. and Nellie (Weyandt) Boyer. She married Richard Eccleston on May 28, 1996 in Winchester, VA and he preceded her in death on November 3, 2015.
Surviving are a daughter Michele Shultz and husband William of Williamsburg, 4 grandchildren Joshua Michael (Arianne)and Jordan Michael both of Williamsburg and Lance Shultz and Shannyn Shultz (Michael) both of Hollidaysburg, a great granddaughter Maddie, a brother Larry Boyer and wife Robin of Claysburg and a sister Penny Hoenstine and husband Michael of Osterburg. She was preceded in death by a sister Susan Dibert and a brother Melvin B. “Butch” Boyer Jr.
Judy was a 1961 graduate of Greenfield-Kimmel High School and retired from the customer service department at Warnaco after 35 years of service. She attended Puzzletown Road Bible Church and enjoyed cooking, baking, cryptograms and spending time with her grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Thursday April 25, 2019 from 3:00 P.M. until the 6:00 P.M. funeral service at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg, Pastor Terry Farr officiating. Interment at Greenfield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
