Kathleen "Kathy" M. Holmberg

Kathleen M. “Kathy” Holmberg, 71, of Altoona, passed away Thursday December 12, 2019 at UPMC-Altoona. She was born July 29, 1948 in Johnstown, daughter of the late William and Madeline (Ferraro) Jubina. She married Michael Holmberg on November 16, 1996 in Duncansville.

Surviving are her husband of Altoona, four children Kevin and Dave Helsel of Claysburg, Christine Dively and husband Steve and Brian Helsel and wife Kristen all of Hollidaysburg, seven grandchildren Josh, Alyssa, Ashley, Cody, Alex, Jenna and Caitlyn, a brother William Jubina of Tennessee and a sister Jeanie Kutchman of Ebensburg. She was preceded in death by a brother John Jubina.

Kathy attended Foot of Ten Baptist Church. She was employed as an office manager at Dan-N-Jers Inc., Hollidaysburg.

Kathy was a member of the Women’s Pool League and enjoyed Disney World and spending time with her grandkids and attending their sporting events.

Friends will be received on Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. and Sunday from 1-2P.M. at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday December 15, 2019 at the funeral home with Pastor Mark DiAndreth officiating. Entombment at Alto-Reste Park Mausoleum.
