Kenneth W. Imler

Kenneth W. Imler, 72, of Bedford, passed away Monday September 2, 2019 at Maybrook Hills. He was born November 10, 1946 in Cumberland, MD, son of the late Kenneth D. and Alice (Cline) Imler.

Surviving are two sons Matt Imler and wife Angel of Claysburg and granddaughters Kristen (Brandon), Cassidy and Kaitlyn, James Imler and wife Laurence of St. Paul Reunion Island, grandsons Lucas and Jacob Imler and their mother Renee, a brother Gary Imler of Bedford, a sister Regina Smith of Altoona and was also affectionately known as ‘Pap” to a number of very special people. He was preceded in death by a sister Linda Imler and an infant brother Richard.

Ken retired from the maintenance department of Smith Transport after more than 15 years of service. He enjoyed sporting events, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Friday September 6, 2019 from 3:00 P.M. until the 7:00 P.M. funeral service at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg, Pastor David Maxwell officiating. Interment at Claysburg Union Cemetery.
