Margaret "Peggy" M. Deterline

Margaret M. “Peggy” Deterline, 71, of Altoona, passed away Friday April 19, 2019 at the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg. She was born July 26, 1947 in Altoona, daughter of the  late Warren and Catherine (Harding) Soult.

Surviving are two sons Darren and Shawn Deterline of East Freedom and a brother Dan Soult of Altoona. She was preceded in death by a son Paul Deterline Jr.

Peggy was a 1965 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and a member of Providence Presbyterian Church, Altoona. She was a homemaker and was employed as a greeter at Sam’s Club and previously as a waitress.

Peggy was a member of the Duncansville V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed playing Bingo, online games, puzzles, gardening and lighthouses.

Friends will be received on Tuesday April 23, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Miller Funeral Home, East Freedom. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday April 24, 2019 at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Braun officiating. Interment at Riverview Cemetery, Leamersville.
