Nancy L. McCoy, 78, of Queen, passed away Sunday December 1, 2019 at Nason Hospital. She was born November 23, 1941 in Sproul, daughter of the late Kenneth and Betty (Musselman) Knisely. She married Robert Dean McCoy July 1, 1967 in Leamersville. He preceded her in death on December 30, 2016.
Surviving are four sisters Judy Stock of Jupiter, FL, Debra Randall and husband Gus of Fort Myers, FL, Susie Himes and husband Denny of Duncansville and Phyllis Hoover and husband Steve of Roaring Spring and two brothers Donald “Casey” Knisely and wife Sandy of Roaring Spring and Kenneth “Jake” Knisely and wife Vickie of East Freedom, brother-in-law Ron Bailey of Queen, sister-in-law Barbara (Hamer) Knisely, four nieces Angie Diehl, Julie England, Beth Ann Parker and Barbara Bailey-Glass, eight nephews Jeffry Ling, Donald Knisely Jr., Donald E. Carnell III, Justin Hoover, Gary Lee Knisely Jr., and Kenneth, Troy and Shawn Knisely, great nieces and nephews Josh Ling, Jarron, Luke and Cole Knisely, Jada, Brielle and Brandon Parker, Samantha England, Grayson Knisely, Gavin and Hayden Knisely, Mason, Megan and Marah Diehl, Jaxon, Jase and Brooks Hoover and Jessica McCorkel and a great great niece Jocelyn.
She was preceded in death by an infant brother Robert Knisely and a brother Gary Knisely, brother-in-law John Robert Stock, sister-in-law Helen “Jennie” Bailey and her loving pug “Brittany”.
Nancy was a member of the Queen United Methodist Church. She was a 1962 graduate of Central High School and was employed at various factories in the area before becoming a homemaker.
Nancy was full of life and was a kind-hearted woman and loved to talk and help others.
Friends will be received on Wednesday December 4, 2019 from 6-8 P.M. and Thursday December 5, 2019 from 1-3 and 5-9 P.M. at the Queen United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday December 6, 2019 at the church with Pastors John Mackey and Jeffry Ling Jr. officiating. Interment at Greenfield Cemetery.
