Vecelia P. "Toddy" Weaver, 84, Duncansville, passed away Tuesday July 10, 2018 at her residence.
She was born in Altoona, on Jan. 23, 1934, daughter of the late Bernard and Helen (Diehl) Ott. On May 8, 1954, she married Robert L. Weaver in Altoona.
Surviving are her husband; three daughters: Pamela L. Riley (Dan) of Hollidaysburg, Holly A. Weitzel (Mike) of Duncansville, and Christy L. Weaver-Smith (Stephen) of Hollidaysburg; seven grandchildren: Heather, Hope, Wayne (who was raised in her home), Mandy, Curt, Justin and Scott; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Connie McNamara of Harrisburg and Thelma Reece of Dickinson, Texas; a son-in-law, Randy Joyner; and her special friends: Linda Wise, Peggy Edmundson and Liz Martin.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Weaver; and seven sisters: Ellen, Elizabeth, Nomai, Margaret, Ann, Doris and Audrey.
Toddy was employed as a waitress for Mainline Restaurant and Chuck Wagon Restaurant. She previously was employed at Vince Horwick Shoe Co., Altoona, and along with her husband, she was the owner and operator of Weaver's Grocery Store in Altoona.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, bingo, going to Rocky Gap and spending time with her family.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
