Annabelle Stiffler, 88, of Claysburg, passed away Thursday March 31, 2022 at Nancy’s Personal Care Home, Osterburg. She was born August 8, 1933 in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Russell and Jennie (Burket) Ritchey. She married Wilmer D. Stiffler on March 29, 1952 in Winchester, VA. He passed away July 6, 2008.
Surviving is a son W. David Stiffler and wife Paula of Marysville and a granddaughter Camryn Stiffler. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers Burle, Roy and Bud Ritchey and 6 sisters Marie French, Betty Nycum, Pauline Miller, Dorothy Crissman, Naomi Hoenstine and Thelma Johnstone.
Annabelle was a member of Berean Baptist Church, Duncansville. She attended Greenfield-Kimmel High School and was a homemaker.
She enjoyed flowers, traveling, writing poetry, and had written a song, contributed articles to the Shopper’s Guide but her greatest joy was her granddaughter.
Friends will be received from noon until the 2:00 P.M. funeral service on Monday April 4, 2022 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg with Pastor John Bennett officiating. Interment at Claysburg Union Cemetery.
