Carol Ann (Brumbaugh) Musselman, 79 of Bedford, born November 24, 1943, joined her husband, Myrl, to be with her Lord and Savior on September 17, 2023.
She is survived by her 4 children: Myrl Jr. (Rhonda), LouAnn (Patrick), Donna (Mike), and Carolyn; 9 Grandchildren: Scott (Chi), Kelly (Jeff), Justin, Jonathan, Stephanie, Sean (Kelsie), Ryan (Jensen) and Michaela; and 6 Great-Grandchildren: Damien, William, Hayden, Weston, Jackson, and Phillip, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 62 years, Ivan Myrl Musselman, her parents Lewis and Alice Brumbaugh, and siblings: Mrs. Norma Woomer, Mrs. Margaret Merkle, Mrs. Vivian Laird, and Mr. Lewis Brumbaugh, Jr.
Carol worked as a secretary at Chestnut Ridge High School after graduation. Carol also worked in ministry with her husband as a host and organizer for Teen Challenge Ministries for the local area. Carol served on the committee responsible for building the Bedford County Prison Chapel where she was also a ministry leader for the women in the prison.
Carol has several hobbies which included baking, sewing, horseback riding, bowling, and reading her Bible and listening to gospel music. One of Carol’s most beloved past-times was being a Mother, Grandma, and Great-Grandma to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Thursday September 21, 2023 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday September 22, 2023 at Upper Claar Church of the Brethren, with Pastor Dustin Feaster officiating. Interment at Upper Claar Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to AseraCare Hospice Care of Johnstown PA, Alzheimer’s Association, St. Jude’s Hospital, or Shriner’s Hospital.
