Courtlin Marie Holland, 27, of Roaring Spring, died Monday December 6, 2021 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. She was born September 6, 1994 in Altoona, daughter of Scott Stickler and the late Marlene “Moe” Holland. She was raised in the home of her grandparents Peggy Miller and Charlie Schmitt Jr.
Surviving are her grandparents, her father and step mother Crystal, fiancée Stephen Carroll, son Grayson Skye Carroll, three brothers Taige Z. Holland, Seth Stickler and Jarrod Stickler, aunt Jamie Lynn Feather, cousins Tyler Hammel, Desma Feather and Harry Smith Jr., a niece Kinsley Stickler, her step grandmother Cynthia Hammel, the Fleck family, the Carroll family and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by an aunt Erma “Missy” Childers and a niece Anersa Thrift.
Courtlin was affiliated with Dry Run Independent Baptist Church. She was a 2013 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School. She was employed as a Corrections Officer at Smithfield State Prison and was formerly employed at the Bedford and Blair County Jails.
She was a member of the Body, Mind and Chrome pole studio and enjoyed her exercise classes.
Courtlin also enjoyed softball, fishing, boating and other outdoor activities, crafts and spending time with her friends and family, especially Grayson.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. on Monday December 13, 2021 and 10-11 A.M. Tuesday December 14, 2021 at the Dry Run Independent Baptist Church, Duncansville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the church with Pastor John Leatherman officiating. Interment at Dry Run Cemetery.
