Danny J. Ickes, 66, of Fishertown, passed away Thursday May 19, 2022 at home. He was born May 1, 1956, in Imler, son of Grace E. Ickes.
Surviving are two brothers Charles Wentz of Claysburg and Richard Ickes of Imler and a sister Katherine Wentz of Florida.
Danny was a 1974 graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School. He was employed as a Union painter in Maryland. He also painted at Sears stores and homes in the State College and Bedford area.
Danny enjoyed NASCAR racing and fly fishing.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
