Deanna Jane Benton

Deanna Jane Benton, 68, of Claysburg, passed away Saturday December 26, 2020 at UPMC-Altoona, from complications due to a stroke. She was born April 11, 1952 in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Ray and Ethel (Hainsey) Welch. She married Dennis S. Benton on June 7, 1969 in Claysburg. He preceded her in death on August 29, 2015.

Surviving are a son Ray S. Benton and wife Kimberly, a daughter Denise A. Benton, 2 granddaughters Brittany Diehl and Jessica Wentz, 4 great grandchildren Landyn, Charlee, Cooper and Asuna, siblings Ray Welch, Regina Rhodes, Mary Welch, Harry Acker, Robert Finnegan and Dorothy Lee Bohley.

Deanna retired as a machine operator from North American Communications in 2002. She enjoyed bowling in leagues and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
