Dennis A. Dively

Dennis A. Dively, 68, of Claysburg, passed away Friday May 15, 2020 at UPMC-Altoona. He was born February 29, 1952, in Roaring Spring, son of the late Arthur “Cal” and Marilyn (Herncane) Dively. He married Cindy Walter June 19, 1976 in Claysburg.

Surviving are his wife Cindy, sister-in-law Deborah Chase and husband Bill and special “daughter” Beverly Hicks and husband James. He was preceded in death by a sister Diane Dively.

Denny was a 1970 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School and a 1974 graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where he received a degree in accounting. He retired in 2014 from Clearfield Bank and Trust where he served as the Williamsburg bank manager.

Denny was a member of the Moonlight Ski League and the Galaxie Club of America. He enjoyed skiing, biking, landscaping and yard work and going to antique car shows.

A celebration of Denny’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to Mending Hearts or the Claysburg Area Public Library.
