Dianna Welsh Arrrangement

Dianna L. Welsh, 75, of Sproul, passed away Wednesday March 15, 2023 at UPMC-Altoona. She was born November 26, 1947, in Sproul, daughter of the late Dorsey Jacob and Lucy (Musselman) Ripple. She married George B. Welsh on May 13, 1967 in Winchester, VA.

 

 

Surviving is her husband, 4 children Tammy (Fred) Hammel, George A. Welsh (Christine Davis), Michelle (Paul) Storm and Ryan W. (Vickie) Welsh, 8 grandchildren and a great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by siblings Elwood “Jake” Musselman, Melva Grabill, Patty Weyandt, Dorsey, and Robert Ripple.

 

 

Dianna was a 1965 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School and was employed at Sylvania, Warnaco, and Nancy’s Floral. She was a member of the Upper Claar Church of the Brethren and Sproul Ladies Aide. She enjoyed playing card and board games with her family.

 

 

Friends will be received from 11 A.M. until the 1:00 P.M. funeral service on Monday March 20, 2023 at the Upper Claar Church of the Brethren, with Pastor Paul R. Snyder officiating. Interment at Upper Claar Cemetery.

 

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to her church or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
