Donna Finnegan

Donna (Berkhimer) Finnegan, 82, of Imler, passed away Thursday November 10, 2022 at The Lutheran Home of Hollidaysburg. She was born July 3, 1940 in Blue Knob, daughter of the late Harry E. and Edna E. “Tubby” (Reese) Berkhimer. She married Richard H. “Dick” Finnegan on March 15, 1958 in Claysburg. He preceded her in death on March 4, 2022.

Surviving are two sons Alan (Michelle) of Claysburg and Greg (Sue) of East Freedom, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, a brother Roy (Diana) Berkhimer of Blue Knob and a sister Sheryl (Michael) Osborn of Huntingdon. She was preceded in death by two brothers Edward and Richard Berkhimer.

Donna was a 1959 graduate of Greenfield-Kimmel High School. She was a member of Greenfield United Church of Christ, where she was a member of WINGS and served as secretary of the cemetery for over 30 years.

Donna sang in the Claysburg Community Chorus for over 20 years and volunteered at the Claysburg Fire Hall. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and family gatherings.

Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. on Wednesday November 16, 2022 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday November 17, 2022 at the funeral home with Pastor Wendy Farber officiating. Interment at Greenfield Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Greenfield United Church of Christ.
