Eric M. Biesinger, 85, of Claysburg, passed away Saturday May 7, 2022 at home. He was born March 13, 1937 in Johnstown. son of the late George O. and Ida M. (Martin) Biesinger.
Surviving are 7 children Elizabeth “Libby” Hoenstine (Dave), Pamela Maher (Robbie), Craig Biesinger (Christina), Martin Biesinger (Krista) and triplets James Biesinger (Lisa), David Biesinger and Erica Biesinger, 10 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a brother Owen Biesinger. He was preceded in death by a brother Dr. George J. Biesinger, grandson Nicholas Hoenstine and his former wife Inez Biesinger.
Eric was a 1955 graduate of Greenfield-Kimmel High School. He served as head custodian at the Claysburg School District for over 20 years and was previously employed at General Refractories.
Eric served 8 years in the Naval Reserves. He enjoyed fast cars, traveling with friends, SCUBA diving and photographing wildlife.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
