Evelyn Grace Ebersole

Evelyn Grace Ebersole, 93, a resident at Hollidaysburg Veterans Home, formerly of Osterburg, passed way, on Wednesday Febrary 14, 2018 at the home. She was born April 1, 1924 in Weyant, daughter of the late Harry and Grace (Berkheimer) Davis. She was married to Ralph W. Ebersole for 69 years. He preceded her in death on November 17, 2015.

She is survived by five children:  David W. Ebersole and wife Mary Ann, Judy Colebaugh, Gary W. Ebersole and wife Joyce, Roger L. Ebersole and wife Pamela, and Darlene McFadden and husband Bobby all of Osterburg, 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, sisters Anna Meredith, Louise Whysong, Ruth Davis and Agnes (husband Fay) Neatrour. She was preceded in death by a sister Kathryn, brother Lloyd, infant twin brothers Edgar and Edwin, son-in-law Edgar Colebaugh, and great granddaughter Addison E. Grainda.

Evelyn was a member of Trinity Reformed Church, Osterburg, the Pleasantville VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and a former member of the Chestnut Ridge Lions Club.  She was a homemaker and avid stamp collector.

Friends will be received Saturday February 17 from 11 A.M. until the 1 P.M. funeral service with Pastor Charlie Miller officiating at Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg.  Internment in Osterburg Community Cemetery.
