​Geraldine “Peggy” E. Feather

Geraldine E. “Peggy” Feather, 89, of East Freedom, went home to be with the Lord, on Saturday September 17, 2022 at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. She was born September 23, 1932 in East Freedom, daughter of the late Ralph Walter and Mazie (Musselman) Aungst.

Surviving are two sons Robert Bush Jr. and wife Linda of Claysburg and Rex Bush of Altoona, 7 grandchildren Adam, Ryan, Trevor, Turner, Michael, David and Laura, 11 great grandchildren Isabella, Camden, Noah, Adeline, Keyara, Preston, Quinton, Zaiden, Zakera, Zailee and Delilah, two sisters Shirley Black of Duncansville and Linda Aungst of East Freedom, a brother Dennis Aungst of East Freedom, her companion Charles Stapleton and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Donald Lee Aungst and a sister Margurite Dillon.

Peggy was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Claysburg. She was a 1950 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She was a homemaker and enjoyed country music, dancing, playing piano, organ, guitar and several other instruments. 

Peggy loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
 

Friends will be received from 10 A.M. until the noon funeral service on Tuesday September 20, 2022, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 480 Emmanuel Dr. Claysburg, PA 16625, with Pastor Erik Lingenfelter officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Emmanuel Baptist Church.
