“Harry” Randy S. Claycomb, 62, of Imler, passed away Wednesday August 4, 2021 at UPMC-Altoona. He was born December 21, 1958 in Roaring Spring, son of Phyllis M. (Allison) Claycomb and the late Melvin R. Claycomb Sr. He married Susahn Bridaham on June 25, 1988 in Queen.
Surviving is his wife Susahn of Imler, his mother Phyllis of Imler, a son Stewart and wife Misti of Imler, a daughter Christina Lang of Claysburg, 6 grandchildren Kaleb, Kaden, Kylee, Kolby, Kenna and William, brothers Melvin Claycomb Jr of Imler and Scott Claycomb of Gates, NC, a sister Angela Lafferty of Imler and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
Harry was a 1976 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School. He retired as a driver from John Lafferty Trucking in 2013 and was previously employed at John Russell Trucking and also owned and operated his own truck for several years.
Harry enjoyed spending the day in the garage with his dad, helping friends and family working on their cars and restoring cars. He was also involved with drag racing with his son Stew and nephews Spencer and Troy and short track dirt racing with other members of his family.
Friends will be received from noon until the 4:00 P.M. funeral service on Saturday August 7, 2021 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Pastor Calvin Miller officiating. Interment at Imler Valley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Queen United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
