Jacqueline Y. “Jackie” Black, 65, of Queen, passed away Thursday April 22, 2021 at UPMC-Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. She was born December 23, 1955, in Roaring Spring, daughter of Betty L. (Moses) Weyant and the late Clarence “Pete” Weyant. She married Robert L. Black on October 28, 1977 in Claysburg.
Surviving are her husband, mother, daughter Shawnelle Dively and companion Travis Weakland, son Robbie Black and wife Lani, 3 grandchildren Lane, Lawson and Lennox, a nephew Derek Weyant, a special aunt Donna Weyant and a special uncle Don Weyant. She was preceded in death by a brother Johnie D. Weyant.
Jackie was a 1973 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School. She was employed at Champion Home Builders, Claysburg for over 40 years, most recently as a cost accountant. She also served as the Kimmel Township property tax collector for many years.
Jackie enjoyed auto racing, especially watching her son’s 01 racing team, hunting, horses and spending time with her kids and grandkids.
Friends will be received on Thursday April 29, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until the 2:00 P.M. memorial service at the Claysburg Church of God, 4311 Evergreen Road, Claysburg, PA 16625, with Pastor Kim Swindell officiating. Interment at Claysburg Union Cemetery.
