Jakob R.D. Dodson

Jakob R.D. Dodson, 22, of Claysburg, passed away Sunday July 25, 2021. He was born October 13, 1998 in Altoona, son of Jeremy R. Dodson and Tiffany D. Glass.

Surviving is his father Jeremy (Jessica), his mother Tiffany, siblings Jaelyn, Jakobie, Janea, Camden, Alexa and Addisynn, grandfather Richard Dodson Jr. (Bonnie), grandmother Suzi Dodson, grandparents Denny and Linda Glass, great grandmother Carol Dodson, uncles Jake Dodson (Paula), Johnathan “Skunk” Dodson (Brittanie) and Tim Glass (Patty), aunt Tina Seaman, great aunts Tina Claycomb and Kim Bender (Ed), great uncle John Dodson (Robin), nieces and nephews Alidiya, Bubba, Jonah, Alijah and Rohan and numerous cousins and other family members. He was preceded in death by his great grandfather Bud Dodson, great grandmother Charlotte Dively and best friend Amanda Crist.

Jakob was a 2017 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School. He was previously employed as an underground foreman at Eustis Cable Enterprises.

Jakob enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, mushroom hunting, sports, gaming, cliff jumping and his puppy Sable.

Friends will be received from 2 P.M. until the 6:00 P.M. funeral service on Thursday July 29, 2021 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg with Pastor Jerry Tow officiating.
