James "Guff" Cox Arrrangement

James B. “Guff” Cox, 69, of Queen, passed away Monday February 28, 2022 at Homewood at Martinsburg. He was born April 16, 1952, in Roaring Spring son of the late James and Phyllis J. (Hoenstine) Cox.

Surviving are cousins and friends, including his best friend Larry “Pork” Sell and special cousin and caregiver Cathy Helsley.

James was a 1971 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School and was employed at Hoenstine TV and Zeigler Chevrolet.

Guff enjoyed restoring older classic cars. He was involved in local dirt track racing and was a member of the pit crew for Jerry Claar’s #59 Race Team.

His greatest accomplishment in this life, was when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior on February 9, 2022.
