Jeffrey A. McDonald, 69, of Bedford, passed away Saturday July 22, 2023 at UPMC-Altoona. He was born January 14, 1954 in Alliance, OH, son of the late Irvin “Ray” and Sadie “Vernetta” McDonald. He married Deborah Lockard on September 8, 2000 in Lisbon, OH.
Surviving is his wife of Bedford, children David A. McDonald and Kevin D. McDonald (Melinda) both of Claysburg, Lindy M. Smith (Joseph) of Michigan and Seth A. McDonald of Bedford, grandchildren Shalynne, Logan and Hunter McDonald, Nicholas and Matthew Tate and Katelyn Smith, a great grandchild Octavia Wasylak, siblings Gloria Jean Sweger and Dwayne Paul McDonald both of Alliance, OH and Terry McDonald (Paula) of Duncansville.
Jeff retired in 2009 from Rex Heat Treat, Bedford after 9 years of service. He was previously employed at Cintas in Alliance, OH.
Jeffrey enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR racing and jigsaw puzzles.
Friends will be received from 4 P.M. until the 6:00 P.M. memorial service on Wednesday July 26, 2023 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg with Pastor Calvin Miller officiating.
