Joe Allen Crawford, 57, of Claysburg, passed away Sunday December 13, 2020 at the Altoona Center for Nursing Care. He was born August 8, 1963 in Roaring Spring, son of the late Marie N. (Whitfield) Claar and Charles Crawford.
He is survived by sisters Lori Hileman and Christina Jenkins, both of East Freedom and Angela Crawford of Conneticut and a brother Shawn Claar of Huntingdon. He was preceded in death by his parents, step father Dale Claar, sisters Melissa Shoenfelt and Deborah Kagarise and brothers John and Steven Crawford.
Joe was a 1981 graduate of Northern Bedford High School. He served in the U.S. Army and was employed in the maintenance department at Roaring Spring Bottling. He also did construction work for various people in the area.
Joe was a member of Three Valley Sportsmans Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing and NASCAR racing.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions a memorial service will be held at a later date.
