Judith A. (Hileman) Claar

Judith A. Claar, 73, of Claysburg, passed away Monday August 24, 2020 at home. She was born February 11, 1947 in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late William Sylvester Sr. and Ada Catherine (Grove) Hileman. She married Larry Moses Claar on February 11, 1965 and he preceded her in death on July 26, 1990.

Surviving are two sons Michael Scott and Larry Michael Claar, 4 grandchildren Larry M. Claar, Amber L. Billotte, Roselynn Claar and Joey Billotte, a great grandson Brayden L. Billotte, a brother William Hileman Jr. and a sister Pamela Sunderland. She was preceded in death by a niece Tina Miller.

Judith was a member of Claysburg Bible Church and volunteered at Mountaintop Bible Camp. She was a 1965 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and retired from Veeder-Root in 1987, after 18 years of service. She was a member of the Hurst Olds Club of America and enjoyed going to car shows.

A private family burial will be held at Upper Claar Cemetery and a memorial dinner will be held at the family home at a later date.
