Kathy M. Clemens, 68, of Claysburg, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday May 18, 2023. She was born November 10, 1954 in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Hughey “Yock” and Rebecca (Stine) Weyandt. She married Rodney L. Clemens Sr. on October 6, 1973 in Claysburg.
Surviving is her husband, sons Rodney Jr. and fiancée Danielle of Claysburg, Adam and wife Kimberly S. of Claysburg, daughters Kristin Poole and husband Sean of Burlington, NC and Kimberly J. Showalter and husband Tyler of Roaring Spring, 10 grandchildren Delaney, Jaden, Riley, Samantha, Mackenzie, Emily, Matty, Londyn, Sutton and Heath, two brothers Hughey “Bobby” Weyandt and wife Carole and Cloyd “Butch” and wife Carol and a sister Vicki Claycomb and husband Donald “Flitch”. She was preceded in death by brothers Larry “Sonny” and Charles “Benny” and a sister Sally.
Kathy was a member of the Claysburg Bible Church. She was a 1973 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School and was employed at Rhodes Meat Market, Martinsburg. She was previously employed at Holland Bros. for 23 years.
Kathy enjoyed cooking, baking, and traveling, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. on Monday May 22, 2023 at the Claysburg Bible Church, 11751 William Penn Road, Imler PA 16655.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the church with Pastors Keith Showalter and Erik Lingenfelter officiating. Interment at Claysburg Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
