Kay Lynn Lingenfelter, 79, of Duncansville, passed away Wednesday March 23, 2022 at Windy Hill Village, Philipsburg. She was born June 22, 1942 in Altoona, daughter of the late Bowman Kennedy Jr. and Nela Jean (Koontz) Kennedy and was raised in the home of her grandparents Bowman Kennedy Sr. and Viola (Foor) Kennedy. She married Glen B. Lingenfelter on December 31, 1959 in East Freedom. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2004.
Surviving is two daughters Julie K. Moyer (George) and Christine V. E. Garwood (Dwayne), two sons Pastor Erik D. Lingenfelter (Linda) and Glen B.B. Lingenfelter, 5 grandchildren Sarah, Adam, Amy, Alison and Emily-Grace, 6 great grandchildren Fhillip, Harrison, Sullivan, Oliver, Mason and Eliana and seven siblings. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Samantha G. Moyer.
Kay attended Roaring Spring High School. She retired as a cashier from Martin’s Market, Duncansville and was previously employed at Walmart and Sears.
Kay attended Emmanuel Baptist Church, Claysburg and enjoyed music, Disney, her cats, her Irish heritage and spending time with her family.
Friends will be received from 10 A.M. until the noon services on Saturday March 26, 2022 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 480 Emmanuel Drive, Claysburg, PA 16625, with Pastor Erik D. Lingenfelter officiating. Interment at Leamersville Riverview Cemetery.
