Kenneth W. Litzenberger, 68, of East Freedom, passed away Saturday June 24, 2023 at home. He was born August 25, 1954 in Roaring Spring, son of the late William H. and Arlene I. (Showalter) Litzenberger.

 

 

Surviving are four children Sheila Litzenberger of Altoona, Dwight Kensinger and wife Bethany of Roaring Spring, Krystal Litzenberger of Mapleton Depot. Rachel White and spouse Tammy of Imler, 8 grandchildren, including Joey Coughenour, who was a constant companion for the last 2 years, a few great grandchildren, siblings Dorothy Beegle and husband William of East freedom, who has been his caregiver for many years, Karen Smith and husband Dane of Ore Hill, Debbie Clouse and husband Mike of Martinsburg, Bryan Litzenberger and partner Darren Ruzzi of Altoona, Rick Litzenberger and wife Tammy of Roaring Spring and Mark Litzenberger Sr. and wife Lisa of New Enterprise, Barbara Krish of Tyrone and a good friend Jimmy McConnell of Hollidaysburg, who also helped with his care for several years. He was preceded in death by a brother Kerry Litzenberger.

 

 

Kenneth was a 1975 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg. He retired from the maintenance department of Central High School in 2010 after 36 years of service. 

 

 

Kenny enjoyed working on cars, football, going to the grandkids games and collecting watches.

 

 

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment at Royer Cemetery.
