Marlene H. (Berkey) Sheasley, 86, of Roaring Spring, passed away Sunday October 18, 2020 at home. She was born May 26, 1934 in Altoona, daughter of the late William L. and Mary E. (Hudson) Kelley. She married Daniel T. Sheasley on February 23, 2001. He passed away November 2, 2018.
Surviving are four children David Berkey and wife Jaqueline of Claysburg, Karen Conrad and husband Rob of Alum Bank, Christopher Berkey and wife Susan of Queen and Lisa Berkey of Boise, Idaho, a step daughter Christina Hileman of Huntingdon, 8 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a sister Donna Bowser and a brother Kenneth Kelley.
Marlene was a 1952 graduate of Altoona High School. She formerly attended the Claysburg Church of God, where she taught Sunday School and other activities at the church.
Marlene was primarily a homemaker, but also worked at J.C. Penney and Puritan.
Friends will be received from noon until the 2:00 P.M. Thursday October 22, 2020 funeral service at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg, with Mr. Jerry Clapper officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery, Roaring Spring.
