Mary Ann Ebersole

Mary Ann Ebersole, 69, of Osterburg, passed away Friday July 30, 2021 at UPMC-Altoona. She was born June 30, 1952 in Bedford, daughter of the late George and LaVerne (Stultz) Arnold. She married David Ebersole on December 5, 1994 in Winchester, VA.

Surviving is her husband of Osterburg, a stepdaughter Denise Dacus and husband Jack of Bryan, TX, stepson-in-law Mark Barefoot, granddaughter Andrea Barefoot, great granddaughter Hadley Overdorff, sisters Lynn Scritchfield of Everett and Sandra Goodhart and husband Doug of Chambersburg, Aunt RuthAnna Fix, brother-in-law Jack Seifert, sister-in-law Peggy Arnold, 12 nieces and nephews including Megan Tritt, Sara Scritchfield and Nikkiah Keene, great nephew Collin Hanks, and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by a stepdaughter Kay Barefoot, niece Jackie Hershberger, brothers Tom and Ed Arnold and sisters Beverly Seifert and Elaine Diehl and husband Dale.

Mary Ann was a 1971 graduate of Bedford High School and she retired as a press operator from Kennametal in 2014 after 33 years of service. She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Bedford.

Mary Ann was a member of the Bedford American Legion Post 113 Ladies Auxiliary and the Bedford Moose Lodge #480. She enjoyed talking on the telephone, watching cooking shows and baking.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday August 16, 2021 at St. John’s United Church of Christ, Bedford with Pastor Brady Plummer officiating.
