Mary C. Hudson

Mary C. Hudson, 86, of Roaring Spring, passed away Wednesday March 30, 2022 at Nason Hospital. She was born January 1, 1936 in New Enterprise, daughter of the late Lee R. and Irene (Miller) Claycomb.

Surviving is two sons Stephen Hudson and wife Deanna of Roaring Spring and Danny Hudson and fiancée Jennifer Harris and her children Elizabeth and Chandler Harris of Jacksonville Beach, Fl, two grandchildren David Mock and Amy Georgiana and husband Adam, four great grandchildren Jesse, Nicolas, Lena and Alexandra, her special friend Don Krise of Hastings and brother Ray Claycomb of Roaring Spring. She was preceded in death by two brothers Thomas and Jay Claycomb and two sisters Marie Black and Dorothy Ferry.

Mary was a 1953 graduate of Replogle High School. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1995 after serving as Postmaster in Hastings, Roaring Spring and Patton. She enjoyed baking cookies, making candy, road trips and traveling.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers contributions in Mary’s memory may be given to the Roaring Spring Community Library.
