Mary E. Moses, 65, of Claysburg, passed away Monday April 6, 2020 at UPMC-Altoona, after an extended illness. She was born March 11, 1955 in Roaring Spring, daughter of Wanda (Claycomb) Burke and the late Donald O. Moses.
Surviving are her mother of Claysburg, two daughters Rachael Moses and fiancée Donald Turner of Imler and Yvonne Winston and husband James of Sproul, a son Ronald Lingenfelter III of Claysburg, 6 grandchildren Zachary and Dylan Moses, Tyler Taylor, Braydon, Isabella and Benjamin Turner, 3 step grandchildren Starlyn, Jarot and Joseph Winston, three sisters Greta Burke, Sheila Dively and Inez Daugherty and three brothers Donald Weyandt, Roger and Joe Moses. She was preceded in death by a sister Lori Burke and a brother Robert “Bobby” Moses.
Mary formerly attended Emmanuel Baptist Church, Claysburg and was formerly employed at the Morrisons Cove Home, Veeder Root and Cove Shoe.
She enjoyed reading her bible, gospel music and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
