Mary Susan Claycomb, 70, of Queen, passed away Saturday March 28, 2020 at Pennknoll Village after an extended illness. She was born October 2, 1949 in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Virgil and Nellie (Troutman) Walter. She married James J. Claycomb on August 21, 1993 and he preceded her in death on December 25, 2004. She was previously married to Ken Arnold.
Surviving are a son Larry Arnold, three brothers Denny, Bill and John (Kim) Walter, an uncle Harold “Boot” Walter, an aunt Mary Troutman and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a sister Linda M. Dodson.
Susan was a member of the Lower Claar Church of the Brethren. She was a 1967 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School and a 1971 graduate of Philipsburg State General Hospital nursing program. She retired in 2011 as the night nursing supervisor at Nason Hospital.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
