Ronald "Ron" C. Foor

Ronald C. Foor, 82, of Roaring Spring R.D., went home to be with the Lord, on Saturday July 8, 2023 at home. He was born November 5, 1940 in Hopewell, son of the late Clair and Mary (Spade) Foor.

Surviving is his wife, Roberta J. Foor, whom he married on April 13, 1964, in Winchester, VA, two daughters Brenda Shealy (Keith) of Yorktown, VA and Victoria Guyer (Timothy) of East Freedom, three grandchildren Ethan Bogle (Rebecca) of Orlando, FL, Sierra Bogle Marbut of Bend, OR and Tanner Guyer of Martinsburg,three great grandchildren Carter and Lola Marbut and Gloria Dei Bogle and three brothers Robert of Roaring Spring, Delmer (Joyce) of East Freedom and Walter (Kathy) of Martinsburg.

Ronald was a member of Grace Fellowship Church – Leamersville. He retired in 2003 as a first class construction carpenter from Appleton Papers after 39 years of service.

Ron volunteered at Nason Hospital for many years and enjoyed woodworking, golf and spending time with family and friends.

Friends will be received from 5-8 P.M. on Thursday July 13, 2023 and from 10 A.M. until the 11:00 A.M. funeral service on Friday July 14, 2023 at the Grace Fellowship Church – Leamersville, 14 Brethren Lane, Duncansville, PA 16635, with Pastor Timothy Guyer officiating. Interment at Holsinger Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Camp Mantowagan or his church.
