Sally S. Lingenfelter, 78, of Newry, passed away Wednesday November 11, 2020 at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center. She was born May 10, 1942 in Claysburg, daughter of the late James Ray and Mary Catherine (Feathers) Weyant. She married Kenneth P. Lingenfelter Sr. on February 26, 1965.

Surviving are her husband, a son Kenneth P. Lingenfelter Jr., of Altoona, a daughter Katharine Sue Baumgartner of Hartford, CT, two grandchildren Rachel and Kyle and a sister Betty Lou George. She was preceded in death by a brother James R. Weyant Jr.

Sally was a 1960 graduate of Greenfield-Kimmel High School. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crossword puzzles.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
