Sally M. Walter, 79, of Claysburg, passed away Tuesday December 2, 2020 at UPMC-Altoona. She was born April 28, 1941 in Pavia, daughter of the late James Helsel and Ruth (Brown) Helsel Patterson. She married William Walter on July 1, 1961 in Claysburg.

Surviving are her husband, a daughter Lou Ann Dolinsky and husband Chris, a son William Walter Jr. and wife Lori, daughter-in-law Helen Walter, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, four sisters Anna Belle Glass, Vera Brown, Mary June Mock and Phyllis Dodson and two brothers Fred and Ed Patterson. She was preceded in death by a son Jody Walter, grandson Jody Jr. and a brother James Helsel.

Sally was a member of Harvest Abundant Life Church. She was formerly employed at Loungeray, Hollidaysburg, News Printing, Roaring Spring and was also a caregiver. She enjoyed spending time with family.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
