Shane Warren “Quality” Long, 26, of Claysburg, unexpectedly gained his angel wings on Friday July 29, 2022. He was born in Altoona, PA the son of Barbara Tipton Long.
Surviving are his wife Autumn, beloved daughter Natalie, step-daughter Abrianna, mother Barbara, sister Shannon Long (Jim), grandmother Ruth “MiMi” Tipton, pet snake Striker, cats Black Cat, Gray Boy and Mr. Kitty. Nieces: Nevaeh Long and Abigail Himes due in October. Aunts & Uncles: Lisa Pier (Joe), Nikki DeGennaro (Jeff), Warren C. Tipton & Allen Deffibaugh. Cousins: Zachary Pier, Paige, Taylor and Alexander DeGennaro. Shane was proceeded in death by his infant son Trevor and grandfather Warren Tipton, Jr.
He was a 2015 graduate of Claysburg Kimmel High School. Shane was a very proud father and loved his entire family with all his heart. He was an activist for all good common causes, enjoyed collecting guns, target shooting, riding dirt bikes, the outdoors and playing video games. He read his Bible daily, had a huge kind heart and was a gentle soul. He is loved with all our hearts and will be missed but never forgotten.
Friends will be received from 3 p.m. until the 7 p.m. memorial service Friday, August 5, 2022 at Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg with Pastor Erik Lingenfelter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Central PA Humane Society.
